I started this business because of my love of languages- myself learning Spanish and Russian. As a CELTA qualified tutor I know how hard it can be to master the finer points of English as a second language, especially when you need it to find a new job or want to join an international company.

01. Interviews

As a former Police Officer, I have vast experience in interview technique – how to approach them and how to always get a result. There is a science behind this and it’s a subject that really makes me excited. A great interview can be the difference between getting that job you really want and taking your career to the next level. It’s not difficult, but there is definitely a method you need to learn. Understand what questions HR managers usually ask, what they mean, and how to answer them.

You won’t even get an interview if your CV isn’t good enough. Don’t make the mistake of thinking you need to exaggerate. You can still be honest on your CV while using the right language to really make it stand out. We offer a CV review service. We will take a look at your CV and make some suggestions. If you want, we can then help you make it better. There are also some very important cultural differences that can easily cause a big mistake here.

03. business language

The language of business – HR, negotiation, boardroom and general office – can sound like a whole new language if you’re not used to it. The better you are at using it, the more confidence you will have. More confidence = more success. We cover a wide range of business language to suit a variety of businesses and we can practice using role play. My team has experience across many industries including Legal, Defence, International Logistics, Pharmaceutical, Renewables, Aviation and Maritime.

After serving for over twenty years as a Police Officer, I knew that I wanted to do something completely different while still serving others. So, I qualified in Hypnotherapy and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming), put my passion for Health and Nutrition to good use by starting a Health Coaching business, and began a new journey.

At the same time, I’d always had a passion for languages – I’m currently learning Spanish and Russian – and having gained experience in a number of industries during the course of my investigations, dealing with business people from all over the world, I became a CELTA qualified tutor specialising in Business English. As a native speaker, I am uniquely qualified to help international citizens of the world who speak English as a second language to learn all about the ‘Language of Business’ and to help them find new work opportunities.

I am the face of the business, while having a small team of consultants on hand to help when needed – this is especially useful when it comes to reviewing CVs and preparing interview practice with clients. I specialise in interview technique, the science and psychology of the interview; including speech and body-language. It’s not just about what you say. It’s about how you say and present it.

I myself have conducted countless interviews over many years, while my team have been responsible for high-level recruitment, interviewing and the negotiating of contracts. Together, we have everything you need to take your Business English to a much higher level.
